I have an A2 rifle that i built a while ago and recently took apart to do some work to it.  While i had it apart, somehow i managed to loose the steel buckle from the sling.  It is the buckle that adjusts the length and secures the loop in the front of the sling.  This was a new-old stock sling and i don't want to have to buy another one to replace the buckle.  Does anyone know where i could find just the buckle?  Thanks for the help.

Are you asking us where in your house your lost buckle is? Im confused....

ETA:  I think I now understand what you are asking. The triglide or H buckle is available from many craft/fabric/hobby stores.

Good luck, Brother!

I think he's talking about the quick release buckle like the USMC sling uses.    Like the one on the front of this pic:

sorry, i didn't know the actual name of the buckle.

Yes, the quick release buckle is the one that i am talking about.  I put an H style buckle on there for now to keep the sling on, but i would like to eventually replace it with the correct one.I might just order a new sling if i can't find a place to just order it.

I have a few older slings missing theirs, so I look for those buckles in various surplus and gun stores, etc.  If they have a beater sling or just a buckle, they usually want as much as a new complete sling would cost me:

Numrich Arms has just the sling buckles for sale, they call this part a Sling Keeper, part #1055710, cost $3.50. I purchased one of these recently and it was in excellent condition.
