Hey guys,

I have a Colt Upper that has the Large hole pin. I have the DPMS adapter bushing, but it doesn't fit the small pin. It slides through the large hole easily, but doesn't seem to fit the small pin. What should I do? Should I sand the inner metal until I get a better fit? Or should I lube and oil it extensively and then pound it in? I don't want to sell it because I really like the A2 design.

The adapter bushing just won't slide easily through the front pivot pin. So right now, I'm not sure how to get the front pivot pin through the adapter bushing and into the front pivot pin hole.

Thanks

The large and small holes do not perfectly align, they are off set. Turn the pin until it aligns with both holes...

Pictures would help.

Use a round file and file the inside of the bushing till the pin will just fit, then install it in the upper. I use JB weld to install the bushing in the pivot hole.
