I have two match grade A2's for CMP and long range competition.  Both are chambered in .223 Rem.for 100-600 yd events with SMK 69's with .223 Rem load data.  I'd like to buy a replacement upper in A2 or A3 configuration chambered in 5.56mmx45 in a 7-twist to be able to fire the milspec hot loads at long range, should the need ever arise.
I was shopping at Commercial Row at the NRA Nationals at Camp Perry, OH,  last week and discovered Armalite, Bushmaster,M&A, Sherluk,  and Rock River had nothing to offer. 8-twist midlengths were the closest I could find.
Where can I find a NATO-spec 20" upper in 5.56mm with the accuracy to reach out with heavy military rounds/bullets?

Thanks in advance!

Ohio Ordnance Works has FN upper rated good. I bought the FN barrel there and the condition was better than their rating......

I took your aqdvice, checked it out on their website and ordered one.  As I live just over the state line from OOW, it arrived a few days later via FedEx.  You were quite right!  In beautiful condition other than some finish wear on the windage knob.  The bore cleaned up with CLP and I plan to give it a treatment with a copper remover but the rifling appears sharp.  I had some extra upper parts and replaced the missing forward assist, and threw in a spare bolt and carrier.
Now, I can't decide if I want to build a dedicated lower for it, or use one of the lowers from my match rifles.

Thanks much for the great advice,
Hank
