Quoted: Quoted: Bushmaster and DPMS sell them. how's the bushmaster compare to the NDS? NDS are lil bit better finished (flash removed, better anodized finish) probably closer to original Diemaco standards or Colt C7 QC. BM and DPMS and Fulton Armory I think, all use the same split A Anchor Harvey Forge-produced blank uppers. |

The ones that Fulton sells are made by DPMS. ( or were, about eight years ago ) Back in the day, one of the issues with the DPMS unit was that the charging handle track was too tight for a proper, GI charging handle to fit into the upper...you HAD to buy the DPMS charging handle. Had I known that DPMS built the Fultons; I would have gone with Bus-hamster instead. Other than that fitting issue, however, the DPMS unit was very well finished and everything else fit into it perfectly. Still...... As it stands, I don't know if DPMS ever corrected that charging handle issue. After a time, the charging handle track has worn in a bit and, at some point, I might be able to fully fit a GI charging handle into the upper. So you know, that A1/C7 on the green background is mine....it's my favorite rifle by far!!!! |
