| Does anyone know if anyone makes a ghost ring A2 aperture |
|
Well, the 0-2 apertureon an A2 rear sight is basically a ghost ring. If you've BZO'd using the small aperture for a 25/300m zero and flip to the 0-2, you're good for 0-200m.
XS Sights also makes a "same plane" aperture wherein the small and large apertures are on the same sighting plane. |

i like to use the small aperture. i found a dpms ashley ghost ring. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=610584 i was thinking about lightly touching it with the drimmel and c what happens Thats basically the same thing as a standard A2 aperture. You should already have a small aperture, and a ghost ring marked "0-2" underneath it. |

If you like to use the small aperture, why are you asking about getting a ghost ring aperture? Just to be clear, the A2 rear sight does have both. If you push forward and down on the small aperure, the sight will rotate and you'll have the bigger 0-2 ghost ring style aperture. |

A ghost ring, for the purposes of firearms discussion, is a big large rear aperture. These are typically found on shotguns, some aftermarket pistol sights, etc. The 0-2 aperture meets the text book definition of a ghost ring. Hence the confusion over what you want. I am not aware of any ghost ring or small aperture sights that have a painted ring around them. It really shouldn't be necessary. |

i want a small aperture that has a ghost ring ( silver around the edge ) how is that confusing you. i know that it has two aperture duh It's not me that's confused. Unfortuantely, I have no idea what to call what you've described, have never heard of it, seen it, or understand why you would want it. But, I wish you everlasting luck in your quest. |

The way I understand it, he doesn't want a ghost ring, he wants a long range / small aperture with the edges painted silver. |
| yea i want a long range aperture with the edges silver. I thought for years thats what a ghost ring was, i guess i was absent minded for awhile since ive had peep sights on my ak and others and they where never referred to as ghost rings. but like i said before i guess i can just take the drimmel with a cone shaped tip and barely touch it |
