Thats good stuff --- i was fortunate to be able to go through several of these to pick out the "best" of the bunch --- mine has a pretty rugged exterior appearance likely from bouncing around in the back of a car or in a weapons rack --- but some i looked at had large pin receivers , commercial Colt style BCG's, and other things. I cracked one open and the rifle had a spanking new BCG, which raised my antenna too |

Built another A2 upper today since I gifted my last to my son last year. Bottom is a Colt HBAR Sporter 6600 Green Label. Top has a PSA M16A4 lower Attached File |

Attached File Not the coolest photo but I’ll play. My first AR-15, years ago, was a rescue from an estate sale, significantly undervalued. Colt AR-15A2 Government Model with A2 furniture and barrel, half moon carrier, and a large pin slab side lower and C7 upper. The lower is long gone, sold for what I had into the original rifle. The barrel was last on an A4 clone, replaced by an FN CHF and P&S rail. Butt’s from Kings but I swapped the swivel out for an authentic one. I think this is an H&R upper and B/C with the original Colt bolt, barrel, gas tube, delta ring and handguards. Lower is a McKay RM16A2 with Larue 2-stage trigger and paint traces from when it was part of an inauthentic Mk12 clone. Just lubed, think I’ll go zero it tomorrow. |
