I've finally got it dialed in. I'm using an Innovative Arms Grunt silencer and the heavy PWS buffer with the #4 setting on the gas block and it is really a pleasure to shoot. Little to no recoil. Almost no gas face. I did the Permatex charging handle fix and notice a difference there as well. It almost shoots as quietly and as softy as my Blackout. You need to get one.

BTW - I contacted Innovative Arms to see what they recommend to clean it and they said to send it back to them and they would refinish it FREE OF CHARGE. They weren't the ones that cerakoted it but they'll clean up the mess for free? That's GREAT customer service IMO. |

| Yep- that's character. I hope the refinishing works well for you. What's the turnaround time? My suggestions would have been greenie-weenie (Scotchbrite), then copper scrubbie, then stainless steel scrubbie for a smooth finish. Whatever works best. Then some hi-temp BBQ or engine paint; flat or satin black. Repeat as required. |

That's a sweet looking upper! My Mk110 currently wears a FERFRANS CRD because I ran out of Surefire muzzle brakes (only bought three...  ). However, my Mk112 and Mk116 both wear Surefire muzzle brakes and look great with a can on (my buddy's, still waiting on a certain company to do the Form 3 and send it to my dealer so I can start the Form 4 and the next long wait).
