I purchased a new PWS MK107 in .223 Wylde a month or so ago. When I cycle the action a round into the chamber sometimes the bolt and bolt carrier will stick in the forward position and I have to "mortar" the gun to get the bolt to unlock to remove the live round from the chamber. I also have issues with the gun cycling correctly when I fire it.
I contacted PWS's awesome customer service and they sent me a slip to send the gun in. Their customer service said that they swapped the bolt and barrel out and that should fix the problem. I received the gun back and while it was better than what it was before, it still has the same issue. I just sent their customer service a followup email and I will be sending it back in later this week. Any idea's on what could be wrong? It doesn't seem to matter that type of ammo I am using. I am having issues with anyone that I put in it. I can't get through 5-10 rounds without a hangup. |
| It's been doing it with any type pf ammo I put into it. PWS has been great and it is on its way back to them as we speak. I want to make it clear, I am in NO WAY bashing PWS or their products. They have been great and I am confident they will resolve the problem. |

It's sticking with a live round in the chamber. I can't pull the bolt back to take the live round out. might check the extractor. My dad bought PWS 762x39 upper and had the action jam up in him. He got it cleared and tried again and it got stuck to where he couldn't get the bolt carrier pulled back. He took it to a local gunsmith that found the extractor had broken and part of it had wedged in place. I read on here not long ago of someone else having a similar problem with theirs. |
