I posted before about a dedicated suppressor for an M6A2. Due to how I will employ my rifle I want the shortest OAL as possible with an attached suppressor. I don't necessarily need completely hearing safe but taking the "bite" off the shot will definitely help. The problem is I do not have the upper yet and I see that there are a few suppressors that have some backspacing behind the barrel threads. Long story short, anyone own a 10.5 M6A2 that could measure the length from the start of the threads (closest to the rail) to the screws that stick out to take off the rail or what would be the furthest point back I could have a suppressor without hitting anything. From there I can choose which suppressors will fit and toss out the ones that won't.
Thank you in advance for the help |
| For shortest OAL, check out the www.deltapdesigns.com Brevis Compact. It's a 2 inch wide can, so it does not suffer the over pressure issues that many 1.5 inch short cans experience and performance is very respectable even on sub 10.5 inch lengths. OAL is 4 inches for the compact and 5 inches for the standard Brevis. |
