Finally got to try out my adams arms upper on a gwacs cav15-mkII lower,,,,,,, love it! This is my first time for doing something like this. I have a stag with DI system and like that well enough but I wanted to try a piston system. Not disappointed at all. Only issue I had was mag related (old 20 rd gi metal) switched to a pmag, no issues at all.
The fit of the adams upper to the lower is great. Even tried it on the stag lower and same thing, very nice and snug, no wobble/slop. Some might wonder about the balance of the piston upper with poly lower, it's a little nose heavy but I don't really notice enough to be a issue. I've only fired maybe 60 rds through it, enough to zero it plus some for fun so too early to say how this will all hold up in the long run but right now it looks positive. |
