Are the new Mod 1 version of the PWS rifles no longer stainless steel ?

Looks to be Chromoly now.

If both are nitrided, is one better than the other for this type of rifle? I find conflicting views online.

my understanding is they are the same barrels just re profiled to a lighter-weight profile. So still stainless steel. These are great, super accurate.

Just ordered one of these a few months ago (the MK110 Upper), very excited to see its performance! I have heard great things
