| Ok - have a POF stripped upper and lower with the mmr rail that I bought from a group buy. I also have a POF BCG. I am looking to try and keep the gas piston system and I'm wondering if there are any piston systems that are available for use with a mid length barrel. The POF stuff is absolutely beautiful and would give my left nard to keep it all POF - but they are swamped keeping up with complete rifles and uppers and probably don't want the headache of garage armorers fitting their gas blocks to barrels to start selling these components. I'm in love with the match and BHW barrels that Rainer Arms is selling. Any ideas? |
| You might be able to get a Hogan Piston System to work with that as they originally designed & manufactured it anyway for POF in the past. That system is imo the best in the business. I'm done trashing POF, if Frank DeSomma has learned the meaning of Customer Service, then his product would be fine as well as there may have been some design changes that may substantially differentiate the two. Me, I personally prefer the Hogan system, but that is simply my opinion. |
