| Not sure if this belongs more here or in the industry section. Anyways I met the owner of Delphi Tactical at an Eagle Arms Gun show this past weekend and he seemed very knowledgeable. He has over 10 years of experience in SO and had some interesting tweaks to the AR platform. Essentially it uses a forward side non-reciprocating charging hande that is up by the gas block. It also had a polymer dust remover (IIRC he might have called it something else) which he said helps to remove the fouling that occurs around the bolt that leads to many malfunctions in the AR platform. It looked like some pretty significant changes and looked really interesting. Also his prices were very reasonable for a new technology and a small company starting up. Anyone else heard of these? He was also willing to sell complete uppers. He aslo had a 2-point sling that looked pretty awesome that I would def be willing to try if I wasn't so damn happy with my MS3 set up. |
| Spoke with them too.... twice.... first at normal speed then again at slow speed so we wouldn't miss anything..... you know, I'm old enough to say this..... if it sounds too good to be true it probably ain't..... but every once in a while you luck out ($$$)..... my buddy is on the list to get one from Delphi, he's ordering one toot sweet with all the bells and whistles..... that was one purdy rifle and the tech was top notch...... regretfully, the ADCO site is so swamped with orders that he took it down for the time being..... did you hear him say that they are on the short list to replace the M4.....more than a few of the mightys have already been eliminated. |

I mean the guy def knows his stuff its just a matter of figuring out whether he's just trying to make a quick buck with a new fad or if the system really is that good. I read some reviews online of that upper and it appears to have some issues with the charging handle wearing away with small pieces of metal flying off and a rough texture on the magwells. It was only one review so I'd take it with a grain of salt. Either way doesn't look like any of us are getting any AR's any time soon with the current political climate and people panicing all over. It's ashame cuz I was looking forward to getting some more stuff then the asshole Adam had to ruin everything for everyone. Hope that fuckface is burning in hell..... |
