Where is a good place to buy a spare piston BCG?  Thanks

Thats going to depend on which piston system your using. I'm not sure how many companies have designs that you can swap out. I would get one from the company that manufactured your system.

A sig carrier will obviously fit, I think an LWRC carrier would fit without issue. I know the original Sig BCG was almost an exact copy of LWRC's.

Sig won't sell just the BCG. You must buy the complete upper.
Wish it wasn't true.

Would like to hear if anyone has succesfully fired a LWRC purchased BCG in a Sig sauer 516

Is the SIG bolt standard?  I've never seen the need for a spare bolt carrier but a bolt should be easy if it's a standard part.

SIG parts are almost as hard to get as HK...

Looks like someone is using the LWRC carrier in their Sig http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_126/587591_LWRC_bolt_vs__SIG516_bolt.html

Would'nt a spare bolt only be ok for a backup?

Yea...actually, is a spare bolt all I really need?  If so, will any bolt work?

^ Yeah, what he said. If the Sig is a soild weapon ( I am NOT saying it is'nt) it should take many many thousands of rounds to kill one. I ran 12k through a previous weapon to see what it would stand. Bolt looked fine but was replaced before I sold it.
