I was wondering if you know of a rail syatem that I can use to replace the Omega Rail on the Rec7. I would like something longer than what it has on it now.

It's a Daniel Defense rail (as I'm sure you know) and has to have the clearance to fit over the piston system. Call Barrett and talk with them - they made the rifle and can help you better than anyone else.

Its my understanding that the Barrett piston system is proprietary. So rails that work with Adams or others may not work with the rec-7
I doubt you'll get much of a recommendation from Barrett, considering they provide a rail, just not the one you want.

Daniel Defense, ARMS, Samson, and I'm sure others make rails that fit the REC7 system (9"/midlength). The problem is they don't clear the gas block. You may be able to modify a longer rail to fit by machining out a clearance cut for the gas block.
