I have seen some drop in triggers but some say small pin others say oversize pin? Is there any difference in what type of drop in trigger I need to look for?

should be the small pin. The large pin is for older colts I believe.

I have a Geissele SSA small pin trigger in my SR556C. It dropped right in and has been an excellent trigger.
