There is a post, and it is a pretty good one, with lots of measurements and testing.
As you say, it is probably a change in barrel harmonics. Hanging new chunks of metal off the FSB can be expected to make some change. Of course, such changes can make no difference, accuracy suffer or accuracy improve. Also, different piston types can be expected to make different changes, as can different barrels. I don't think there is a simple answer to your question. Can you expect change? Almost certainly. Will the change be positive or negative? Who knows? |
