As stated by the subject, this is a very simple question. I am just starting to look at piston operated guns vs di. I was looking at noveske's website and I didn't see where it said if it was gas piston vs di. I was looking at the 14.5 afgan in 6.8 and all it has for info is about the vis and in the specs it says "Carbine length gas system"  Are these guns di or gas piston?

Noveske does not make a piston gun.  All of them are DI.

For complete guns get POF or LWRC both are great piston guns.

Ask me how I know.

There are also some nice conversions out there.

Thanks guys, appreciate the help. I was really diggin the noveske 6.8 and then it kind of hit me that I wasn't completely sure if it was a piston or di. I have heard of LWRC but don't have a lot of knowledge of POF. I really would like a nice 6.8 piston operated, are there any other recommendations for rifles or are those the 2 best companies out there for gas piston? I was also looking at surpressing the rifle. I have a trust set up and am on my way but have some questions regarding the adjustable gas piston. Is it necessary? If I don't have an adj gas piston and I surpress the gun what can happen?
