A bit heavy on the branding I think.

The pictures there did catch quite a bit of light off the Samson because it is flat from the laser. They do appear rather subdued (black on black) in real life. Thank you very much for the input though!

Some people like the branding, some don't. Can't be that hard to offer both..or maybe it is , Idk. Looks pretty slick though.

To be honest, this is something I would buy right this minute... if it didn't have the gigantic logo.  I really don't mind branding, for the most part, but this is way over the top.  Put a logo on it, but make it small and off to the side so it doesn't become the focal point for the entire gun.

Agreed, way over the top.

But I do love my samson 7-EX rail....

I would like to buy a set now, M16 gets a little too warm after mag dumps

Where is the link to buy?

I remember seeing one or two of those the other week...

The pic on their website shows them a little more subdued:

I have to agree with the above posters though, I wish they were smaller.  I love my Evo and have several of the direct bolt on attachments.  But I don't know about these with that big of a logo.

Ditch the logo or make it small in the corner and I'm in.

Ouch!

I assume they work on the Rainier version as well? Though I rather like the machine work/design on your rails and haven't had any issues with heat. Neither has my GF's 9 year old daughter and the rail is on her rifle. Still something to think about though.

I've been using the same set of these for over a year and I like them.  The logo on mine is different than the version that is available now to purchase.  My logos are white lettering.

Yes, that is correct. It will work with all of the versions of the evolution rail. We will consider all of your feedback! Thank you everyone for the comments.

Yeah, I agree.  Logo is WAY too large, it implies sponsorship.   You should be giving these away to ask that level of brand visibility, the customer shouldn't have to pay for it.

Pretty much sums it up.  Maybe I'll get a set and Krylon them.

Picatinny rail covers actually serve a purpose...but these things???

Yo dawg, we heard your flat surface needed more flat surface...so we invented a flat surface that bolts on top of your other flat surface.

Whew.  Crisis averted.

I wonder if it will fit a Centurion CMR...

Think heat.

I would also like to see a smaller logo, and maybe some texture. Oh, and like usual, some FDE!

I'd like one sans advertising or at least smaller advertising.

Well, of the 4 Evo rails I have, two of them are for my M16.  After a few mag dumps, it can get too hot to hold.  So this thing should help with that.  The brand doesn't bother me too much, if it does bother me, I can easily paint over it.

Can you tell me the distance between centers on the mounting screws?
11/13/2013 9:45:34 PM EDT
[#22]
Just got it mounted on my M16, very simple to install and extra screws are provided.  The logo is laser etched, not painted.  It is not too obvious in natural light.

Thanks for the picture! The extra fasteners were a last minute addition. We just wanted people to be able to remount it on another rifle, and or prevent the "oh SH#T, i lost one behind the couch" thing.

Is that a coffee table built from pistons, connecting rods, and camshafts?   That's awesome.

I want to see one that snaps around the side and bottom with built in hand stop and the most popular colors. Much like Noveske has for their NSR rails. I'd love to stick with Samson products as I already have two Evo rails on two separate uppers

I would not consider purchasing due to logo.

Also, needs options for texture & FDE.

Can these mount to the sides and bottom at the same time? I don't use a vertical grip or AFG.
11/28/2013 4:22:57 AM EDT

I called Samson and asked them that very question.  They said yes so I ordered two sets so I can put two on the sides and one on the bottom.  I will let you know how they work as soon as they arrive.

Three mount together fine. I got mine in the other day and mounted them. I really like these, but I will be adding grip tape as soon as I find some locally.

Love your rails and their designs and own a few you have made for other companies such as 556 tactical, rainier arms.  However It would have been nice to have some type of texture or design rather than smooth. Looks plain and boring and takes away from the rail itself.
