Hey, wise-acre; I'm not seeing it.

so after a wasted trip to google Im still curious if anyone has a side x side pic of the 2 grips |

Holy crap! Just what the doctor ordered. I love the standard BG, but find it too small (like seemingly many people This is great news! |

Just received my Tango Down BG-17 from Rainier Arms. Took 2 days for the day I ordered it. All I can Say is WOW http://i917.photobucket.com/albums/ad15/brycebentley/IMAG0238.jpg http://i917.photobucket.com/albums/ad15/brycebentley/IMAG0237.jpg http://i917.photobucket.com/albums/ad15/brycebentley/IMAG0235.jpg |

FINALLY! How do these compare in size to the Ergo? Would these be comparable to the larger MIAD? or Medium? I Have never used the Ergo, but I feel that The Tango Down BG-17 is Between the MAID Medium and Large inserts, Maybe more towards the large Size but not as big as the large. Its perfect for me which I was a Medium MAID users. I always like the original Battle Grip the BG-16 but always felt it was too small. This is a great grip. |

I don't know if I would go THAT far. It is extremely optimistic to say that everyone currently running a MIAD or MOE will switch to this grip.
The next fad is certainly nice in the short term, but TD seems to go for long term quality over cool-guy of the month club stuff. However, this will definitely make a dent in the market for that niche that liked the TangoDown battlegrip but found it too small, or for those that prefer the TD battery storage (I do), or for those that want a grip that is slightly larger than the MIAD midsize backstrap and MOE grip but smaller than the MIAD large backstrap. The TD fatboy grip fits those niches perfectly. I am right down the middle. I run a MIAD on one of my carbines and the TD on another gun that will likely end up becoming a recce/DMR rig. Porter |
