Looking for a couple of knurled washers.
Found the duckbills. Saw a couple of them on GB but at office & couldn't bid. Also saw a demilled duckbill that had no washer\spacer Any help would be appreciated. |

Getting into the weeds, but that's what we do here, right?... On the XM177E2 (or GAU-5A/A), in practice, the lock washer was often used inside the grenade ring (at least from what I saw in the Air Force). But, by the tech data, no lock washer is installed. It only shows the moderator and the grenade ring behind it (which is called a "suppressor washer"). The NSN for the standard lock washer is 1005-992-7280. The NSN for the grenade ring (or suppressor washer) is 1005-087-9001.

Nope, all knurled washers DO have knurling, but you have yo know what you are looking for. Side by side, laying flat, knurled washers look just like standard washers. However, side by side on edge, it is easy to see the difference (the knurled one is on the right in both photos) https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/432342/image1-280623.JPG https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/432342/image2-280625.JPG |

I think the latest barrel I've ever personally owned that came with a knurled washer is a cast fsb MVP12 barrel. |
