Wanting a short barreled A2 upper for a truck gun. To put on an sbr lower.
Just wondering if there are any reputable companies building a Commando style complete upper. Doesn't have to be retro correct, but the style of the commando is what I'm after. What's the easiest way to acquire without having to chase parts. Thanks. |

JT, I did an A2 Commando build about two years ago. I had an A2 upper receiver and had ADCO set me up with a 11.5" DD Gov't profile barrel assembly. Attached File Model 1 Sales offers A2 Commando upper assemblies in 10.25" and 11.5". They are 1/9 twist. |

JT, I can understand that. Of course, if all you plan on using is M193 and/or M855, the 1/9 is good to go as you know. Almost all my commercial ammo and components are 77 grain. I have some 62 grain commercial stuff. Sure it would be fine. That said, i think the uppers aren't in stock. Won't let me add to my cart. Been awhile since I've ordered from model 1 I think. Can't recall how they do their inventory. |
