I've got a Stevens 77 I'm working on turning into a Vietnam 77E clone.
But I've ran into a predicament 
It seems I missed the boat by a few years on the cheap 77E stocks and recoil pads. Can anyone help me out with a source for them? Thanks. |

I refinish mine using rustoleum stain from lows a ebony and black cherry came out looking very close to an original one my stock was a light blond wood to star with |

Watch eBay like a hawk. You probably won't find a military stock, but you might at least find a commercial stock with the correct red recoil pad. I got lucky a couple months ago. You can also find some serviceable sling swivels at gpc, I'll dig out a link later and post
