Hey guys,
I got an M16A1 barrel marked C MP C and got all the other Colt parts that would be correct for a 1969-1970 rifle. My understanding is that the serial number range for an Army M16A1 with a C MP C would be 1,000,000 to 1,999,999. I was thinking it might be cool if I found a crushed M16A1 receiver in that date range, but it and use the same serial number on my repro. Does anyone know if it's possible to find a lower within that range? If anyone has one for sale, I'm looking to buy! Thanks, Steve |
