In my continuing effort to create a unique AR10, I sent it's furniture to John Thomas
and had him paint it in his 'porto olive. The furniture kit is lonestar handguard and grip, with an E type buttstock. He did a super job as always and came back pretty quick (thanks John!) So what does retroland think? My inspiration was the picture of the Bernhardt presentation AR10 as seen in AR10er's book, and originally was going to have it painted 601 green, but after talking to John, went to the porto olive instead. To me it looks completely brown, and reminds me of the original AR10B brown.

California was at one time the place for import military firearms.  It's on an Aero Precision lower. Armalite is banned via certain models but not as a MFG. if you look it has a mag lock and 10 Rd mag rivet, sigh.... |
