Do all the early Colt plastic 2-position CAR stocks, not the vinyl ones, have an "N" on them?  I have one that appears to be an original Colt stock but it lacks the "N".

No, not the aluminum/vinyl stocks, the plastic one that came just after the aluminum ones.

Thanks

Some of the Colt fiberlite stocks were NOT marked, but they're identical to the N1 marked ones.

Thanks for all of your help.  This stock and buffer tube that I recently acquired were identical in quality to another Colt one that I had, but it lacked the raised "N" marking.  Good to know that not all Colt stocks had the "N" marking.
