what is this bolt carrier group and what is it worth? Thank you for any help you guys can give me.

Looks like a 601 bolt carrier to me, with a correct narrow band bolt, a slightly later flat head firing pin and a later
firing pin retaining pin/cotter key. Post in the appraisal thread above to get value

On a similar note.... do chrome carriers ever look dull??

I have one and it looks like it might have been bead blasted... it is USGI..

They have sort of a matte finish to them--they were not polished. I've seen some with black spots ("stains") on them, but other than that, simply wiping them down usually restores them to like-new appearance.
