I have seen that same one a few times 
I was stationed at Hunter from '92-'95 when it was still 24th ID and did some contract work at Stewart in '05. I also had a hand in some of the restoration work on the ones at the museum at Ft Rucker when I was pulling duty there back in '91 while waiting for a school. Now I'm gonna have to find some of my Cobra pics. |

I loved Vinnie's with some spinach and feta cheese.
Savannah was a great town to be stationed at as a young pilot with disposable income in the '90s. When I was back in '05 the vibe had changed a bunch but nice to be able to be fishing or boating on the inner coastal 5-10 minutes from my apartment and renting boats for cheap from post recreation. '92-'95 were some of the best years of my life...between NTC rotations

The cobra was leaning about 30 degrees to the right and a mess of palm and pine trees were piled up around / on the APC. I didn't enter the front gate often in my time there, but for some reason the wife and I were out checking storm damage very early the morning after the storm went through, and had a good laugh at the mess around post HQ. |
