Has anyone been able to put a folding stock on a stock A1 rifle?

I remember Olympic Arms had a folding stock AR back in "the day" but most companies find that the gosh darn buffer tube gets in the way of that.

LAW research IIRC.

+1 for the Gen 3.  They finally got it right, in my opinion.

It would have to be for an A1, Cav Arms A1, stubby fixed or collapsable stock, it would add too much length to an A2 stock...

I would like to see a fixed stock rifle with the folder installed. The rifle can't be fired with stock folded of course.

I know that ZM Weapons had their piston design able to fold, but for buffer-tube based stuff, the LAW design is by far the best option.
It does lack the ability to fired while folded that other weapon systems with folding stocks maintain, but it is a great design as an adaptation of an existing system. My big thing is that I don't see it being worth the money for me personally. I have other firearms that fill that short void. I could see that it as a valuable option for someone who doesn't though, as that $270 won't buy you another gun... maybe half of an underfolding AK, but wire/skeletonized/underfolding stocks are uncomfortable as heck. That's why I put a solid wood one on my UZI.

Also ColdBlue, that license plate is fantastic.

I just noticed the plate for the first time and it is fantastic! First time I looked at the picture, I was focused on the awesome Franken C7 Rifle/Carbine.

Like what you did with the grip.

I've been on the fence about one of these.  Thanks for the [implied] endorsement.
