Hi all.  I know that the flash was removed on the rear of a Colt 601 receiver, but I'm not sure about the flash that is inside the trigger guard.  I assume it was removed as well, but I want to confirm this before I do it.  Also, any other suggestions as to what to do to my NoDak receiver before I get it anodized (I already have it engraved.  Also, do most guys get their 80% receivers anodized before or after completion?  It seems it would be best to get it done before the receiver is finished, and then ceracote the inside pocket.  That way you are not messing with a firearm when shipping, and they don't have to record the serial number. What do you think?  Thanks.

The 601s--at least the early ones--were nicely finished.  No flash remaining before anodizing.  Once the military contracts kicked in, I suppose they might have sped up production a bit, but not so that I've seen anything sloppy.
