What would the original packaging, documentation, accessories, shipping box, etc for a mid-seventies SP1 in the mid 50,000 serial number range look like.
Was a bayonet and scabbard included?  If not, which model, maker, etc would be correct?
Photos would be greatly appreciated.

....and thanks in advance!

When I bought mine it came like this, plain brown box, label on one end, no bayonet though.

Thanks for the response and photos.

Greatly appreciated. I knew someone on this forum had to have this information!

Those links got me to thinking...
I own a bunch of guns. Frankly, a pretty big bunch. Like, probably more than any God-fearing man should own.  (Fortunately, I'm agnostic.)
And (without pulling out the inventory book to refresh my memory, at least), I can think of exactly ONE that I bought new.

Well, tehnically...I have bought a bunch of receivers new (mostly from our friends at Nodak Spud), but in terms of complete rifles and pistols...99+% of what I own were once someone else's.

Thing is, I don't feel bad about that. There are some nice new designs I'd like to try out, but there are SO MANY great older guns out there that I am perfectly content collecting the beauties than others have tired of!

Anyone else?  What's your ratio of new : used?

Well if you count the new lowers (even if every other part is secondhand) I'd say it's pretty close to 50/50. Most of the used ones are pre-1960 though.
