Not much info/conflicting info when I tried to research this.

If I'm using a slickside upper w/ no forward assist, is the chrome Colt BCG with no serrations correct?

I was going to use a slick side upper, but decided on the forward assist one. I used a Young Manufacturing Chrome BCG with serrations, it would make sense to use a non serrated chrome one in your case.

Almost any bolt is correct. 1964-65 was a transition era for Colt. Personally if building a 607 slickside I would go chrome (early) or parked carrier, chrome key (mid), or
parked serrated (late) with FA Upper.

^^^^ This. I researched for my 607 with a slick side upper, mid 65 and I went parked carrier with chrome key and chrome bolt. It will come down to personal preference I believe.

Agree with all the above, especially the bling!

It's a repro of an early, experimental weapon. I'd go with chrome.
