Now you just need to get the 50 cents, $1, $5 and $10 to complete your collection.  My mother ran a little boutique shop just outside of Nha Trang Air Base from '64 to '72 and she used to exchange MPC from USGI for the Vietnamese Dong.  We had a complete collection that were in mint condition.  But after South Vietnamese government fell in '75, my mother burned them all in fear of persecution by the communist regime

These were waded up in a pocket of a pair of jeans that I had shipped home in 68. They are all second printing bills withdrawn in Oct 1968.

Wow. Those jeans are definitely collectable. Do some searches for antique jeans. Serious.

+1 for pics (of the currency)

I have a $1 series 692 bill in my desk drawer.  We had to do an exchange from one batch to another at least once, and maybe twice, while I was there, can't recall.

It is funny that the ones I have are from when I was in Okinawa with C130s in 1967 &1968  not from 1969 when I was at Da Nang with F4s. I was really impressed with the large Buddha at Nha Trang
