Made a little progress on my replica riot gun projects.  I cut the civvy Stevens 77E barrel to 20 1/8", and the 1897 to 21".  I didn't want to setup the lathe to face the barrels, not sure whether they would fit through the throat or if I had enough space between centers, and I was lazy, so I bought one of those HSS facing tools with the pilot from Midway.  Turns out the pilot was too big, so I'm going to have to turn a new pilot on the lathe anyway.  Being lazy never pays off for me.  I didn't cut the Model 12, because even though it is beat, I like the feel of it so much I may wait until after the next dove season to decide...

I was also going to solder this Remington rifle sight onto the AF/Navy 870 adapter I recently picked up for a Mk1 build, but I can't decide whether to build a replica quasi Mk1, or just build an AF/Navy version and be done with it...
