That just may be a first for around here.  Looks pretty good.  Definitely post some more pics when you can.

That's an ambitious mod!
Did you get angles and measurements from an original?

Absolutely keep photos coming as this progresses!

Nice.  Cool idea.  Think NDS has already gone there but I'm all for making something out of nothing.  Of all the retro pieces I've owned over the years I've never owned an authentic triangle charging handle and at $125-150 today I'm pretty convinced I never will.  When they were available for cheap they just never really worked for me and wouldn't have used one for free.  Don't know if it's my fingers or what but a modern production handle works like a charm even without fancy latches.  Just never seemed to be able to grab it right.  Possibly why they were replaced on milspec.

No Sir.  I should have clarified.  The top two pics are demilled rear halves belonging to 45 bravo.

The bottom bronze one is mine.

In case anyone didn't notice it, Hal's third pic is a USGI latch vs. a NDS complete CH.  NDS has 6 notches in the latch, USGI has 4.

All done from pics. I cut one less serration on the handle not that you could confuse it with an original , but I think it will work until I build one from authentic parts

Next one will be different, but for a first attempt I am pretty happy about it. I need to make a better release, This was the original modified. New one must be from scratch
