Seeing as you have rifles to fit them, how is that getting carried away? Wait...did you buy the bayos to fit the rifles, or the rifles to fit the bayos? Regardless, I think you're good, as long as you post pics of the rifles too, that is...Yep, I found the bayonets after getting the rifles. My picture taking skills are horrendous. I have a really hard time trying to figure out how to fit multiple rifles in one pic. I,ll experiment this weekend (If the rain ever stops) |

Can I post a link instead?

Oh my! John, do I spot a (Real) 16" Garand bayonet in that group? I,ll never be able to afford one of them gordog they aren't THAT expensive since the CMP flooded the market. Nice one's can be had on ePay for under a Franklin. Far cry from a few years ago when a crappy one would cost you $150 and up! Check it out. Now of course gun show vendors haven't figured this out yet and are still trying to rape you! |

Quarterbore, why do you love the M9 so much? If I'm going to go to the trouble of stabbing someone w/ Uncle's M4, I'm going to use an M7. I started collecting and before long I had a couple dozen and they are all different variants. Most of what I have are GI Issue M9 bayonets too as opposed to the dozens or hundreds of commercial bayonets. I stopped collecting a few years ago as it just got too expensive to keep buying the variations as there are just so many! I honestly don't have the slightest guess how many I M9s I have - 4-5 dozen would be my guess I have a few M7s and others too but M9s are what I collected most of when I was trying to collect. I used to buy one or two a month when I could. |

I,ll never be able to afford one of them No, I bought a couple of those aftermarket jobs thinking one of them would fit my Garand and one would fit my 1903A4. Neither of them fit the Garand, and as memory serves me, only one of them fit the 03. The one on the far right end is an original though. It fits my trench gun. John Thomas |

That is a Type B FAL bayonet you pointed out. I lucked into that one. It needed some work, but now it's good-to-go. John Thomas |

Looks like a type "A" FAL bayonet to me. The type "B" FAL bayonet does not have the two prongs. Quoted:
