Prior to the new laws here in CT I went on a bit of a buying spree for pre-94 ARs as it was likely my last chance as long as I live here. After pulling the lowers and a handful of other parts I wanted to keep I ended up with a pile of parts I don't care about, many of which I can't ID. Today I was posting an auction for an Olympic Stainless Ultra Match upper when I discovered unmarked chrome SP1 carrier with an MPC bolt in it. After seeing the MPC bolt, I started to wonder if I mis-matched the BCG from the SP1 upper I just sold with the BCG from the Oly upper I was posting. I looked around online but I can't ID the carrier for the life of me.

The picture below is the only one I have and the camera is down at the moment so I'll try to fill in the blanks. It has an un-shrouded firing pin, FA serrations and no visible markings. The gas key staking is two small round indents per bolt, one on the bolt head and one right next to it on the gas key. Each indent is about the size of a ball point pen tip. Any idea what I've got here?

looks like a dpms chrome semi bolt carrier.  i've seen them marked with a D and unmarked.  i've seen them unshrouded and the tail section is a little more rounded than a SP1 carrier.

MPC marked bolt is a colt.

the one piece firing pin retaining pin looks like an aftermarket one if that's a dimple in the middle.  originals weren't dimpled.  a pic of the other end and on the side would help identify it.

Thanks Boywonder777. It took me a while but I added new pics to the original post if you are inclined to take another look.
