Does this look right to you guys?  I mean, besides the missing barrel?

That is an excellent group of parts.  You've got a great start for a fantasic rifle.

Need pics of the completed project please.

"Australian Model"

Australian, of course.  That model was intended to replace the Owen SMG.

How is it that something so wrong feels so right?

The only thing I see wrong with it is  the little short mag.

It's been my experience in life that if it's feels wrong, it is wrong. But if it's stupid and it works, it's not stupid.

Im going to build this with a Colt SP1 barrel, SP1 rear sight assembly, and an aftermarket "duckbill" flash hider.  Probably going to run the SP1 handguards as well.

I have my eye on a couple of the prototype front sights but if I cannot get one I will use the SP1 front sight.

Trying to locate a grey parked lower parts kit and receiver extension.  I did find a selector switch on GB that doesn't have the tick mark but no divots.

Also need one of the ball detent front pins.

I feel lucky that I found a slickside chrome BCG :)

I know not all the parts will be correct but that can change in time I suppose as more parts become available.  Its still going to be a fun shooter though!

Picked up a machined but unparked prototype front sigt on gunbroker today.  Now I gotta find someone who does parkerizing.

john thomas can parkerize it for you.  braceman can finish it out if it's unfinished.  he can pin it to your barrel too if you need that done.
