I wonder what will happen with them being they are located in NY.

They cant help it.  They have been around forever.  I remember ordering parts and stuff from them in the 60's.

I've done business with them many, many times.  I think I learned 80% of what I know about guns from pouring over their catalog as a kid in the 80s.  Let's hope they rent a fleet of moving trucks and relocate to Ohio.

If they moved to MS I would try to work for them.

I don't think we can let any retro-heads work for Numrich.  There would never be anything like $30 "green painted handguards" again.

Same here their catalogs are very helpful in many ways. They would be very welcome here in SC.

I think Remington/Bushmaster are much more concerned right now

Well my only expierence with them was them telling me "no, sorry we only had one set of the green hand guards and no pistol grips" one week before everyone else scored thiers. Im still a little bitter about that.

And ATI (an Industry member here) - They import the new GSG StG-44 [German assault rifle clone) and several copies of the H&K smg's, all in .22 LR/semi-auto...As well as pistols...

ATI is located in Rochester NY.

I started cleaning out my house last week. Stuff not being used, and not worth moving (like my proto-fantasy AR's). As soon as my mortgage is paid off (within the next year), I'll be moving to a free state. I am open to suggestions as to which one. So far, Texas seems to be the leading candidate.

Tennessee is sensible too.

You can carry concealed or openly here in AZ with no permit required. Northern AZ is surprisingly green. That's where I'm at. My 2nd favorite state after Oregon.

Arizona had always been my retirement goal...Up until my last divorce, when the ex hijacked my dream and moved there...I do not want to ever run into her again...

Here's a comment on my quest from the Industry Forum -

I don't know about ATI, but I'm planning on packing up and leaving, since out-of-state/Internet sales are now illegal.

Take a few months to list my house and get rid of all the furniture. What's a firearms-friendly state??? Preferably in the SouthWest...

TX !!

I once would have said AZ, but...Their douchery with Barbie and Ken Gifford and the Tucson city clowncilman that just went public with his defection to the Dem party over the recent gun-by-back would make me stay away. And their traffic sux ass now.

Nevada has Harry Reid - he BS'd both the NRA and Arsenal for donations and endorsements. Look what that did for us.

I have no idea what mac1045 is referring to...

I just saw on the news that NY made no provision in the new law for LEOs - many of which carry 15 rnd mags in their pistols. Cuomo said eventually it will be addressed, but until then just about every LEO in NY will be in violation. I'm guessing they won't be prosecuted. I'm guessing his bodyguards won't either. One law for the powerful, another for us I guess.

yep, they were in such a rush to pass it no one really gave it much thought.  but after that times square police shooting where multiple bystanders were hit, maybe 7 rounds may not be a bad idea.
