http://www.westernfirearms.com/wfc/m16 Would love to have this XM http://www.westernfirearms.com/wfc/m16?set=35&sz=800x600 |
| Nice. I was drooling over several of the carbines as well. Notice how many were sold or sale pending. It's a seller's market right now for sure. I'm wondering how the whole NFA thing will shake out. If they made the SBR fee $25 instead of $200 I bet a lot of people would be fine with registering their semi-autos. Just a thought. Another thought is it's interesting that they have had no trouble tracking recent weapons used in shootings even though those records are supposedly destroyed after a period of time. With that, I am really thinking of either putting everything in my trust, or else having a terrible boat accident. Guess we'll have to see - one way or another I'm spending money, either on tax stamps or large Diameter PVC pipe. You know, to keep stuff dry in the boat. |
| His prices are very high. I just purchased an M3 grease gun for 12k. I also don't think anyone wants to register their semi-auto's. It takes 4 to 6 months for a transfer now. If 5 mil semi's get dumped into the works, it would take them well over a year for a transfer. No one wants to buy a semi-auto anything and wait a year for it. |

My comment was more about the cost of SBR stamps than the reality of this thing going through. It would make a lot of people criminals. |
