I like to shoot with the bipod on but it rubs the finish of the barrel in between the FSB legs. Any suggestions on how to prevent this?

I would cut a piece of leather or use heavy cardboard. It shouldn't get to hot unless you are dumping mags as fast as you can. In that case, just shoot freehand.

This or get a different style bipod. Possibly a bayo lug unit.
