So what exactly is the deal with, like, mottled pistol grips and stuff?
Some kind of degradation of the plastic? Does it effect the integrity of the part? Is it very common on old plastic parts? I'm gonna get a set of new/like new A1 drainhole handguards to go on my 18" upper, and was curious if I should get a mottled pistol grip to go with it, or just get a regular a1 grip instead, and provide my own wear and tear on them.
That thousand round case of ammo won't shoot itself, you know. |

That thousand round case of ammo won't shoot itself, you know. Its where the solvents have evaporated from the plastic over time and from exposure. Handguards dont mottle as much as stocks and grips do usually. I like my furniture to match personally.. Brent |
