Guys, YoungFrank is now the proud owner of a retro M12 rifle rack! And I believe he has a couple slots still open. So if any of you have any old retro junk clogging up your closets I'm sure he'd be glad to accept donations.

They COULD NOT go to a nicer guy!

Very nice YF,,and Heatnbeat.That kind of stuff is what retroland is all about.

YF,what did you decide to do about DOD stamps? Mine are still available to you for loan if you want,includes testors paint.

I decided to pony up & buy a set from Morrie, don't get me wrong I'm very grateful for the offer but packages can & do vanish in the mail. (it seems more & more these days

Did you guys source them from the guy I gave you contact info on?

He had a bunch when I got mine and mine was in great shape. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with one of his Mk19 racks since I can't fill it with 40mm goodness

Here's the pic of mine since YFS sent his camera on holiday

This one has an angle bolted into the back but I'm not sure what purpose it served. I picked them up from Emory Geist up above Tamaqua. He only had 4 left when I got these 2, and the other 2 were a bit rougher. He had a pallet of ammo cans though so I got a couple and he gave me one of the packing crate things that hold 2 cans together

OK, so I need someone with a source for those racks to make a road trip to Utah! Can't seem to find one here or find someone to ship!

Young Frank, Nice to hear it is getting put to good use, and somehow I suspect the final couple of slots will get filled sooner or later!
I would be happy to offer a part for getting a new build going! Sometimes a triangle HG cap is all it takes!

Yeah, that's the same guy I got mine from. If you want to touch it up at all the Krylon flat OD green is almost a perfect match.

Damn nice! Ive been looking for one of those, but cant find any locally. Too bad i didnt utilize my sources when i was still in the Navy (SEABEES). All those visits to the DRMO, and i had no interest in those racks before i was retired.

I saw one at the last show, the guy wanted $200. he had a brown one for $100 but he wasnt real friendly so i didnt want to buy from him. He had about 10 retros, they were all A2 lowers, but not bad for the price $650.

In all honesty most of my builds received there inspiration from parts donated here, really amazes me when I get stuff in the mail.
