Or measure the ends of the pins. Smack on the small end to remove. This is what I do but I've yet to remove any that were inserted from the left personally. yeah you can assume that any factory installed FSB would be installed correctly. I came up with the smack the small end thing after I completely fuckered messed up a CMMG FSB trying to remove the pins from the wrong side. Ended up drilling. I had ASS-U-M'ed they were put in right. |
| Never tried a CMMG barrel but will keep in mind if I work on one. Have used their lowers. One of my three J&T's has straight pins in the FSB. Won't change until a problem occurs. The carbine that has those in it is a real fine shooter but so are the other two and as they don't take a licking probably will easily outlast me. |

front sight pins drift out ..left to right..? right? the pins go out the same way the brass eject. easiest way to remember it. Thanks boywonder777.............. this is a better way to remember. I always used the direction the takedown pins came out as my way to remember |
