| Are these any good? I was thinking about getting on of their A1 upper receivers with a light conture barrel like on their Pather Lite because the Teflon finish matches my CMMG lower w/ Teflon coating. |
| Those have the "Brunton Bump" shell deflector like the A2's, so they're not really A1, more like a C7 upper. If you don't mind that, I guess they're okay. I've had a few over the years, and the early ones sometimes had problems if you used other than their charging handles. |

Its good enough compared to my extra heavy 20" Target NM from BM but I am open to any ideas as long as it not stainless. I didn't know there was much of any other options for a true pencil barrel. I would welcome chrome lined also.
My options are more limited because I don't want to have to install the barrel on this one. I will get an old SP1 barrel or something on my next budget build. Maybe a 16" pencil. |
