I'm a AR15/M16 noob so forgive me if this is common knowledge, but i bought a nice looking colt A1 upper w/ bolt and carrier at a gun show for $300 and was wondering about the pin sizes for the retro lowers.  Im going to be buying a retro stripped lower from NoDak Spud and want to put new lower internals in it from Stag Arms. (Link for Stag)  I have also heard that AR lowers have different size pins.  Will this work or should i keep looking for a lower parts kit?  Thanks.

Here you go. The Retro lowers use the small pins for the trigger and hammer.

HK87, if your upper reciever's pivot and takedown pin holes are both 1/4 (.250)" then it should fit the Nodak lower like, well, SEX!!  If the front pin hole is bigger than the rear, then you have an SP1 upper and you'll need one of the conversion/adapter things that are available.

GUTS, that list is pretty good but there are a few omissions and a couple inaccuracies.
The TG roll pin is 1/8 x 9/16, not 3/32 x 5/8.
The few A2 rear sight sets I have, have 1/2 long roll pins not 3/8.
A few omissions:
Swivel base roll pin 1/8 x 7/8.
Sling swivel roll pin 1/8 x 7/16.
Buffer tube roll pin 3/32 x 7/8.
YMMV
