Has anyone heard from member Quiet since Thanksgiving? I mailed out a package to him.Tracking shows "delivery attempt" was made on 11/24 and notice left.I have sent him several emails and left voice mails on his cell fone to inform him his package is waiting at his PO for him to pick up, but have not heard back from him.I'm hoping he's on an extended vacation and sunning himself in Hawaii or something.
Please let me know if you've had any contact with him.Thanks in advance guys.

Maybe contact the local authorities? Not to stir the pot with this fellow, more to have them check on his well being. In the realm of online freindships and trading it's easy for one man to become a shut in and for someone to go unnoticed for a while. I had a neighbor pass away and go unnoticed for 3 weeks. When his rent came due they came to look for him.

He's from Illinois, right? IIRC, he's about 40 miles north of me. Dealt with him once on some slip rings.

I only have his address...you made me jump on my cell phone to check for a number.

Sorry guys for the tardiness of my life lately. M1, package received. It went to my old address which was one of those mailbox etc. places. It closed and unfortunately the post office won't forward mail from them. Fortunately my postmaster is extremely worthy of his post and tracked me down. All is received and in good order.

M1, I owe you an apology for not geting back to you much sooner. The list of excuses is long but the fact of the matter is it is entirely my fault. You are a gentleman and I hope to catch up with you on the phone soon.

The good news is that once this latest episode settles down, the ee is going to be humming.

Thank goodness for alll my retrohead buds!

A forum that I run (www.practicalpreps.com) recently had an active member (mitchshrader) go AWOL.
We finally tracked him down and found he had passed away.
When I heard Quiet was missing all I could think of was mitchshrader.

I'm glad Quiet is ok.
