Very nice matter_daddy!! Since you asked for it, about the only thing I can see that "needs" switched out to be more correct would be to replace the safety selector with a no-notch selector. If it were mine I'd oil the hell out of the lower receiver w/CLP & let it sit in a zip-lock baggie for a few weeks. Maybe hit the HGs with some too. The contrast from the shiny stock & the dull HGs would get to me. Oh, & get a gray CH too. Maybe it s the lighting, but it looks black in the last picture. |

Where can a "No Notch Saftey Selector" be found? Is there a repro? The charging handle is black and I'm not sure if its new or retro. Is there such thing as a retro charging handle, or are they still the same? Where would I find a retro CH? Thanks!!! |

IIRC there was a member here that was selling some no-notch selectors, don't know if he still is or not though. I think it was boywonder777?
Not sure there is a difference between new CH & old ones, besides the color. Someone else may have more info on that if there is. Myself I'd just send the one you have to be anodized gray & call it good. |

very nice rig
Apex has trigger guards for $9, along with some other nice retro parts I would also try some Naval Jelly on those black steel fire control pins/trigger ETA: and get some oil on that thing...it looks pretty dry |

For t/g's there is a guy selling them on ee as well. The Apex are the later dark grey vs. the lighter grey of the NDS receivers if that makes a difference. Great looking 604! Posts like this make me want to build one right now! I don't see anything wrong with the trigger guard, just needs to get some oil on that lower & let it sit for a while, then it will match the upper receiver & trigger guard. |

I had a member here offer to trade me my safety selector with a his no-notch selector straight up. I have also "oiled the hell out of the lower receiver w/CLP & let it sit in a zip-lock baggie" same with the HG's and the PG. As far as the CH that will have to wait for now. Might try Naval Jelly or just use it for another build and buy the gray one from gunbroker. Quoted:

Worked great on the fire control pins/trigger.....Did not work at all on the trigger guard and Bullet Button? I'll post some updated pics when the no-notch saftey selector arrives! |

yeah, the naval jelly only works on steel parts, won't do anything to aluminum stuff So is this the answer? TG ? |
