Hello;
I have a bottle of "Klean Strip" rust remover I have been useing to grey some steel parts. It has the active ingredient, "phosphoric acid" in it which I originally used as a brass cleaner. so............ I had this charge handle that was black, I threw it in......next morning it was stripped bare of colour. Still anodized rough, but it appears to have stripped off the dye. Took much much longer than getting grey steel out of the mix. For your enjoyment only. No retro parts where harmed in this experiment. Void where prohibited. Michael |
