I was digging around the other day and found this flashider. It is 1/2 x 28. Never seen anything like it for an AR/M16, but it has the same "vibe." From an AR-18 or AR-180 maybe? TIme frame, etc? Any info would be appreciated, it reminds me of a three prong with the A2 solid bottom fix. Thanks!

I was also thinking AR180. I handled an old one recently that had the same FH.

...yep.  And it uses a nut to time it instead of a crush washer.

AKARS - Do you know if the nut is partially rebated (to hide any exposed threads)???

I don't know for sure, but it doesn't look like it.   There is a very small gap between the nut and barrel and the nut looks to be flat past the outside barrel diameter.

I'll have to take another look at it
